The World Series of Golf is creating an internet casino gaming platform based on its tournament. This patent-pending platform will combine the wagering format of Texas Hold’ Em with the skill of golf. This will be an internet-based program with photo-realistic golf courses and players can wager as in poker.
Still in the development stage with the World Series of Golf’s strategic partner World Golf Tour (WGT), internet casino players will be able to compete on some of the world’s most famous golf courses. Several of WGT’s key developers have previously worked for the gaming Giant Electronic Arts (EA) and were directly responsible for the Tiger Wood’s PGA Tour® line of online games. A nine-hole demo version is currently available in beta version.
