| Instructions for online Bingo On The Box, an online games site: - How do I purchase tickets? In order to play, it is necessary to buy tickets either from the main game interface or from the "Advanced Buy" Menu at the bottom of the game interface. "Advanced Buy" provides the following options
- Buy Games: Buy Tickets in advance for future Games
- Purchase History: View a history of the games you played and see what you won- Accounts Summary: View a history of all your BBz credits
- What are "Tickets/Cards"? 90 Ball Bingo: each ticket is made up of 3 rows and 9 columns. Each row has 5 numbered squares; while there will always be 4 free squares per row. Sets of 6 tickets are called strips, and in a strip, every single number from 1 to 90 is distributed ONCE (and only once) across these 6 tickets. Thus, for every ball called, one number can be marked on any of the 6 tickets.
- 75 Ball Bingo: every online bingo ticket is made up of 25 numbered squares, arranged 5 x 5. The centre square always remains free.
- Is it possible to buy tickets in advance? You can buy as many online bingo tickets as you wish, up to 24 hours in advance. To buy tickets in advance, log into BingoOntheBox.com and click "Buy Tickets". You can select the amount of tickets and the games you want to play from the menu provided.
- How many tickets can I purchase? You can purchase between 1 and 50 tickets per game. REMEMBER: Your chances of winning are increased if you buy more tickets. Although your screen will only show 6 tickets at any one time, you can scroll across to view the rest, Your best card is always shown and your cards are automatically daubed so you will never miss a win. Also, your best ticket is always indicated in the Best Ticket window.
- How much do tickets cost? Costs vary between 5p and £1 depending on the type of game and the time of day.
- Can I keep the same tickets for the next game? This is unfeasible because new and unique online bingo tickets are generated by the system to ensure that everyone has a fair and equal chance of winning.
- How do I keep track of how well my bingo cards are doing? All of your online bingo cards are displayed in the game with your best card being prominently displayed at the top of the game.
- How do I call BINGO? The game will call BINGO for you automatically, when it detects that you have successfully formed the winning pattern. Though don’t let this stop you shouting ‘bingo’ at your screen.
- How long does a game last? Our online bingo 90 ball games can last up to 6 minutes, and are played 10 times every hour. The 75 ball games are a bit faster (up to 5 minutes) and are played 12 times every hour. The average game normally lasts between 2 - 4 minutes.
- How many people will I be playing with? This depends on the amount of players currently in the game. Check under Current Game on the game interface to see how many players are in the room with you.
- Where can I chat? Open one of our games (it will pop-up in a new window) and type your message into the chat window to start chatting and making new friends from across the globe. Our super-friendly Chat Hosts are on hand by 24/7 to assist you whenever you need them!
- Can I join a game in progress? Indeed you can. You can currently join any online bingo game in progress provided that no more than 10 balls have been called for the game in question.
- If I join a game in progress do I have less of a chance of winning? The odds of winning a game are not diminished if you enter the game after it has already started. When you enter the game your ticket(s) are automatically daubed with all numbers that have been called thus far in the game.
- How long can I play without being disconnected: Depending on your Internet connection, you can stay in the game for as long as you like, however, you will be automatically logged out of the room if you remain inactive for 1 hour. Remember that you don't even have to be at your computer if you have bought tickets in advance as any winnings will be automatically credited to your account.
- When I login, can I remain anonymous? Your online bingo nickname is the only ID seen by the other roomies. We encourage players to be creative in choosing a unique Nickname. Be aware that an alias can only be selected once though, so get it right the first time!
- I can’t remember my Password and/or Nickname. How can I find out what it is? Click here for our Password Location page to provide us with your email address, player alias or Player ID. We will automatically email your account ID and password, to the email addresses you provided when you registered.
- What age do I have to be to play? Online bingo players must be at least 18 years old in order to be allowed to play.
- What happens if I get a BINGO, but I'm not credited with the points? If this happens, please send an email to support@bingoonthebox.com, containing the subsequent information: Alias, Date of Win, Time of Win, and the Game ID number.
- Why does the game sometimes have the same winners? Winners are picked at random. To explain it another way - we have zero control of who wins or how many times they win. We all love to win, and just like in real life, players sometimes go on hot streaks. The odds of you winning are the same as the other players, so all you should do is wait for it to happen to you!
- Can I transfer my cash or BBz to another player? No, you can’t transfer your cash or BBz to anyone else.
- What is Auto Daub? Online bingo is a social game and we realize this. That's why we made BingoOntheBox.com games run in "Autodaub" mode. (This means that you don’t need to remember to mark off the numbers that have been called. You will never miss a Bingo again!)
- Can I buy cards in advance, even if I will be offline at the time that game is played? Tickets can be purchased in advance using the Scheduled Buying option. This means that you can schedule specific games in advance, even if you can't be online at that time. (This is great for those special games that you do not want to miss!) Don’t forget that the games are also shown live on Sky TV every day, so you can watch your games on the live BingoOntheBox.com TV show too!
