Here's a different type of online gaming, reverse auctions where the goal is to pay $0 for the items on sale. In a reverse auction, prices go down, down, unlike Ebay were the prices go up,up, up.
Dubli.com is the only site that offers "zero" auctions. The idea is to keep bidding and watching the item of interest until you try to nab it at $0. To participate you purchase "Dubli Credits" worth 80 cents each. The current price of the item is hidden until you click on the ??? box using one of your Dubli credits. The auction becomes like an online casino game because you are trying to outfox the other bidders you are competing against. It is challenging and fun and can be quite rewarding.
How can Dubli give away these items? For each 80 cent Dubli credit, 25 cents go to pay for the retail price of the auction item and the other 55 cents goes to commissions for the individual owner of the site. The price you pay is your number of clicks times 80 cents.
Take a look at some closed auctions, they are impressive!
